The third consortium meeting of the PRAESCO project partners, this time in Dortmund.

On September 15 and 16, the third consortium meeting of the PRAESCO project partners took place in Dortmund. The consortium and the project management agency in Karlsruhe were welcomed to the Technical University campus for engaging discussions and joint planning.

After presenting all the achievements of the past six months, the focus shifted to developing a consulting framework designed to make hybrid work in companies simple and sustainable. Many employers and employees find themselves facing complex scenarios and technical barriers in this regard. To alleviate this uncertainty, targeted support will be offered to prepare them for the new demands of the future world of work. The consulting concept is being continuously developed under the leadership of the practice partner Colenet GmbH.

Furthermore, perspectives on spontaneous, unstructured hybrid work were shared, discussed, and coordinated. The discourse on the current and desired states of this collaborative structure moved the project a major step forward and opened up new perspectives for future exploration of hybrid work models.

In addition, another ELSI workshop was held in connection with upcoming field research activities led by Team IAT. During this workshop, expectations and requirements regarding the proposed innovations were discussed, with aspects such as responsibility, abuse of power, surveillance, and trust in the workplace proving to be central.

In addition to these substantive achievements, the consortium was able to further build its network during an engaging guided tour of DASA (the World of Work Exhibition, part of the Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) and a group dinner at the restaurant “La Gazetta.”

A big thank you goes out to the AIT team for the organization and preparation! There is a palpable sense of anticipation for the next consortium meeting.
